A collaborative effort between the US Marshal Service and the Chattanooga Police Department landing Florida fugitive, Jason Andrews, in Hamilton County Jail last night.
Andrews was wanted in connection with a high-profile capital murder case out of Pasco County, Florida in which massage parlor owner, Dennis Abrahamsen, was brutally beaten to death with a sledgehammer.
Law enforcement officials received word that Andrews was in the Chattanooga area working as a manager at the Chattanooga Billiards Club on Jordan Drive.
After conducting surveillance and identifying Andrews, CPD Fugitive Detectives and US Marshals took him into custody last night as he was working his shift.
Andrews was secured without incident and will be held at the Hamilton County Jail until he can be extradited back to Pasco County, Florida.
