Craigslist ads lead to prostitution charges

TAMPA – Two women contacted through a popular Web site were arrested early this morning during a police operation targeting on-line prostitution.
The women were arrested on prostitution charges in a hotel room at 4732 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. about two hours apart.
Arrest reports said both were contacted through craigslist, a site that allows users to advertise merchandise, seek jobs and post personal ads.
First, Jodi Boatright, 26, of Tampa came to the hotel room just after midnight and offered to perform a sex act with an officer for $200, the Tampa Police Department arrest report said.
Genevieve Kloska came to the room after being contacted by phone through a craigslist ad, the report said. During the phone conversation, she also offered to commit a sex act for $200, police said.She was arrested when she arrived at the room about 2:30 a.m.
