Tampa Escorts: Sid Klein, considered an innovator, retires after 29 years as Clearwater …

Friday, February 26th, 2010

During his tenure as chief, Klein started a citizen police academy and a volunteer patrol program. He started a cable-access television show that brought him into the living rooms of Clearwater’s citizens once a month.
“I always tell my officers to be a part of, not apart from, the community. That’s my marching orders to them,” he said.
Klein was at the forefront of a national movement in community policing, which puts officers into neighborhoods to develop relationships with citizens.
“I can’t say enough about Sid Klein,” said Shelley Kuroghlian, president of the Clearwater Neighborhoods Coalition. “He was so responsive to the neighborhoods when he was chief, especially in the East Gateway area.”
The area has seen a reduction in prostitution, drug sales and loitering since Klein assigned extra officers to address the problems, she said.

Tampa Escorts: The World Behind Fake IDs

Friday, February 26th, 2010

… I guess an undercover cop was checking IDs at the door, acting like a bouncer.” Smith said. “When the cop took my ID from me, she looked at it for a minute, but then went straight to her car. The ID had my real name and information on it, so when she ran my name she found out the ID wasn’t real.”
Smith said she was immediately arrested and put into the cop car, along with her friend who had also used a fake ID.
“I was really nervous, but there wasn’t much I could do about it. The ride to the police station was so weird. First they took us to the local station,” Smith said.
Once there, the pair got inside a paddy wagon that held people who were arrested for different things: homeless arrests, prostitution and DUI’s.

Tampa Escorts: Variety of stories leads to murder charge for Dee Dee Moore

Friday, February 26th, 2010

James Moore, the former husband, said he dug a hole with a backhoe. He said Moore told him it was for concrete and trash. He said he left after digging the hole and that Moore called him back in an hour or two to fill it. He said he never saw a body in the hole, but that it was dark.
Moore also told many stories about what happened to Shakespeare.
To some, she said he wanted to get away to avoid child support. Or, that he was tired of dealing with the money and people who wanted it. Moore also said Shakespeare was in Jamaica being treated for AIDS.
One of the last times Shakespeare was seen was in April. Thomas said he was supposed to meet his driver and assistant Judy Haggins at the Hardrock Casino in Tampa.
When he didn’t show up, Moore told him Shakespeare had an altercation with an underage prostitute.

Tampa Escorts: American Idol 9, February 25 Recap: Four Down, 13 Weeks to Go

Friday, February 26th, 2010

The results start with the girls. The back row stands up, and Siobhan gets the first results. She’s safe, thanks to her refreshing talent. Haeley may have turned off a lot of voters, but she turned enough on to stick around. Michelle gave a good vocal, but not much excitement. The vocal was enough to keep her around, and I hope she becomes more interesting. My home girl Katelyn got high marks for the song but low for the makeover. She also gets the chance to ditch the lipstick.
That leaves Katie and Janell, one of whom is leaving. We know the pimp spot never gets eliminated, so barring a bizarre outcome, Janell is heading back to her quarterback lover. And I am… right. That makes my prediction of Paige and Ashley wrong, but I’m not at all sorry. Janell had a feeling she made the wrong song choice. She knows she messed up in Hollywood, and she wanted the chance to play guitar again. Janell makes the call for a girl winner. Here comes her “What About Love” reprise. It’s still not good, but the bye is.

Tampa Escorts: Idol: Let’s hear it for these boys?

Friday, February 26th, 2010

Simon calls it “the most uncomfortable performance of the night.” Kara thinks “it’s all there” but isn’t working. Randy likes him. Ellen likes the mullet and calls him an unripe banana.
Casey James: Heaven. From Fort Worth, with love. And a so-so performance. Nothing inspired. It’s actually pretty flat.
If heaven sounds like this — drag me to hell.
Kara seems flustered. Ellen thinks he’ll “get votes like crazy.” Randy likes “the whole swagger.” Simon calls it “honest” and “likable.”
I think they’re reallly reaching for something good in a sea of, well, what we’ve heard so far.
Andrew Garcia: Sugar, We’re Going Down. Pimp spot! Are you surprised? Don’t hate me, but I’ve almost had it with his acoustic, coffeehouse reworkings. This does nothing for the song and just seems indulgent. Not impressed at all.

Tampa Escorts: Quirky Girls Rule The ‘American Idol’ Top 24 Season 7 Cast

Friday, February 26th, 2010

Katie Stevens – Singing last, probably not coincidentally in the final “pimp spot,” was this super-overhyped teen, who’s gotten on my nerves by milking her Alzheimer’s-grandmother sob story more blatantly than Danny Gokey ever exploited his widower status last season. Yes, the girl can sing, but she’s not all that and a bag of whatever kind of chips are an Idol sponsor this year. This week Katie crooned “Feeling Good,” a song that has felled many a singing competition contestant before (check out this blog on the “Feeling Good Curse” for details), and she struggled with it as well. Ellen thought Katie’s performance was too conservative for a 17-year-old, not at all current or modern, and Simon shockingly agreed with Ellen. “It was like your mum and dad had dressed you and given you the song for this audition,” he groaned. Simon also rightly called the performance “pageanty,” while Kara and Randy called it pitchy. Randy also advised Katie to “young it up! You can only be 17 once!” We’ll see if she gets to perform on this show more than once..

Tampa Strip Clubs: Bodley: A-Rod at peace with himself

Friday, February 26th, 2010

I asked the Yankees’ third baseman if he felt he was turning the page a year ago when he walked away after confessing to the world, his teammates and reporters that, yes, he was a steroids user while with the Texas Rangers from 2001-03.
“It was the most difficult day of my life; if not that, certainly among the top three,” he answered. “It was very embarrassing. I would never want to do that again, but looking back, it was a necessary step for me.”
A-Rod, the highest-paid baseball player in the land, tasted ashes. There was the steroids scandal, his association with strippers that dominated the back pages of New York tabloids and a divorce. He says he looked in the mirror and didn’t like what he saw. His confessional was followed by hip surgery that kept him on the shelf for six weeks.
