Tampa Strip Clubs: Clearwater man killed in hit-and-run;…

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

William Trotter, 50, of Clearwater, was killed in the crash. Trotter had been driving north on 49th Street when his car was struck by a car that was going east on Park, police said.
Police said the car that hit Trotter was going at a high speed and ran a red light. The driver and a passenger of that car fled the scene on foot. A third person in the car remained on scene and was taken to Bayfront Medical Center with injuries.
Police searched the area with dogs but did not find the two who fled. Several hours later, police learned that a man had been admitted to Manatee Memorial Hospital with a broken femur. Officers went to interview the man, Anthony Peterson, 21, of St. Petersburg, and he told them that he was the driver, police reported.
Police said Peterson said he and his family were at a party at the Bottom’s Up Gentleman’s Club earlier that night.

PINELLAS PARK – The man killed in a fatal hit-and-run accident Monday morning in Pinellas Park has been identified as William W. Trotter, 60, of Clearwater, police said.
The driver of the black Chrysler 300 that struck Trotter’s Toyota Camry was identified Monday night as Anthony Bernard Peterson, 21, of St. Petersburg, the Pinellas Park Police Department said.
After the crash, a passenger in the Chrysler 300 helped Peterson out of the car. They both were picked up by friends who had also left the Bottom’s Up Gentlemen’s Club in Pinellas Park, police said.
Peterson had a broken leg and asked his friends to take him to a hospital out of the county, police said. They took him to Manatee Memorial Hospital, where Peterson was admitted at 3 a.m. Monday and went into surgery at 6 a.m. to repair a broken femur in his right leg, police said. An anonymous source told police that Peterson was at the hospital.

… He ignored any sense of the real diversity of Baltimore’s rich ethnic mix to try and imitate a narrow slice of it found in a TV show,” Baltimore Sun critic David Zurawik wrote. “What viewers were left with was TV imitating TV and a hot dog host acting like he was getting down with the nitty-gritty, hard core reality of urban America.”
It would be like judging your cooking and writing abilities from the 13 sitcom episodes Fox made of “Kitchen Confidential.” Not exactly a fair or accurate shake, was it?
Listen, Tony, Tampa is as expletived-up as anywhere else. We’ve got a grinning, sex-obsessed teacher; a divorcing reality-show wrestler, and more strip clubs than actual naked bodies. If there’s a white-trash petit crime in America, all investigative roads eventually lead to here. “Cops” has us on speed-dial.

Tampa Adult Entertainment: Post-Stormy Daniels: 8 Pornstars Read…

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

Now that “adult entertainment actress” Stormy Daniels has ostensibly ended her aspirational political career with the domestic beatdown heard around the internet, there’s a gaping void in American politics that needs to be filled. We scoured the adult industry in search of other perfect pornstars who can lift this country from its knees.
Mary Carey – Most people thought her run for governor of California in 2003 was just a stunt, but when she placed 10th out of 135 candidates, people started taking the bottled blonde more seriously. But when she announced a planned presidential run, that’s when we got a little scared. After all, she’s a Republican.
Nina Hartley – A legend in the porn biz, this silver fox maybe be our most promising candidate yet. She graduated magna cum laude from San Francisco State University and is a registered nurse, making her a legit voice in the health care debate. She also played Hillary Clinton in the Palin porn mentioned above, and best of all, she’s openly bisexual, putting any rumors of closet homosexuality straight to bed.

Friday, Aug. 21 Sick Puppies / Hurt w/The Veer Union/From This Fire/The Stand LA-by-way-of-Australia trio Sick Puppies make aggro-sexy alt rock with muscular basslines, crunchy guitar riffs, and vocals either crooned, sung-yelled, growled, or processed through fizzy effects. They bring a generally fresh feel to the hackneyed alternative market and are currently on tour in support of their recent release, Tri-Polar, which features the hot hit single, “You’re Going Down,” also the theme song of WWE’s Extreme Rules PPV broadcast last month. Co-headliners HURT are also on the non-traditional alt rock bandwagon, their sound marked by much more drama, heavier washes of sound with symphonic flourishes, and a lead singer who delivers lyrics in soft pained pleas or shrieks that come straight from the pit of his soul. The foursome is also pimping a new album, Goodbye to the Machine, which was released on indie label Amusement in April. Fri., Aug. 21, 8 p.m., State Theatre, St. Petersburg, $15.

Tampa Escorts: Want sex? Use your 12-year-old son to solicit

Want sex? Use your 12-year-old son to solicit > Posted by Barbara Hijek on August 19, 2009 12:20 PM
We can think of lots of ways to put a 12-year-old to work.
Mow the lawn. Take out the trash.
But no where on our list is to have him solicit for sex.
Severino Quintana obviously feels differently.
Police say Quintana, 61, used his 12-year-old son as a translator to offer an undercover officer $20 for sex, reports the Tampa Tribune.
Police arrested Quintana of Tampa and charged him with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and soliciting another person to commit prostitution.
He remains in jail, with bail set at $750.
His son was released to his mother.
And not a moment too soon.
